Business Development Team Lead.

Kontent.ai is currently going through a massive growth phase, and we are scaling up our commercial teams to help us expand our global footprint. We are looking for an experienced BDR Team Leader to lay the foundations of our outbound marketing & sales strategy.

In this newly established role, you will report directly to Vojtech, our VP of Growth & Marketing, and you will own, execute and accelerate Kontent.ai’s business development around the world. Most importantly, you will be responsible for building our first-ever BDR team!

Responsibilities

  • Hiring, training, and managing a successful team of BDRs (Business Development Representatives) that work across global markets and various industries
  • Identify, generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure full alignment
  • Continuously optimize how sales handles what marketing generates as well as how your team generates pipeline from cold accounts
  • Being comfortable in the ability to use data to support decisions and initiatives
  • Given the massive growth phase Kontent.ai is going through, we are looking for a high-energy, self-driven, and proactive professional who is still willing to work hands-on and cover some territory themselves. As soon as the BDR team grows, the role will move to mostly coaching & team management.
  • As soon as the outbound function is successfully established, you will become a member of the growth & marketing leadership

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in outbound sales & marketing as BDR or SDR
  • A huge plus: Proven experience with building & scaling outbound teams in SaaS
  • Experience with Marketing Automation and CRM software 
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills (both verbal and written)
  • Hunger and drive to succeed
