Marketing Data Analyst/Specialist.

We are looking for a new colleague with a strong B2B and possibly SaaS background and a passion for continuously identifying marketing opportunities for growth, improvement, and innovation.

What will you do?

  • Track and analyze customer journey data - in other words how people progress from anonymized visitors through named prospects to valuable customers. This journey consists of many touch points and conversions worth deep analysis. There are tons of data requiring further categorization conversion rate analyses across the customer journey and within a marketing/sales funnel in order to identify low and high-performing marketing activities and their influence.
  • Create a tracking plan design and implementation using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (v4), and other tools.
  • Be involved and cooperate in setting up various marketing and other tools and their integration - with analytical data in mind.
  • Be responsible for data migration and transformation for own reports over a SQL-based data warehouse; report design using Metabase and MS PowerBI.
  • Closely cooperate with marketing leadership on metrics for yearly and quarterly marketing plans.
  • Be responsible for multi-touch marketing campaign attribution per selected micro-conversions.

Who will you work with?

  • This role is part of the Data Team within the Revenue Operations department to secure aligned cooperation with other data and technology roles. However, the ultimate stakeholder is the Marketing department, more specifically the Demand Generation team.
  • Working on customer journey improvements requires close cooperation with other teams, especially with Sales and Customer Success.

What technologies do we use (and you will too)?

  • Google Analytics, Google Ads, Social platforms, Salesforce, Pardot, Intercom, Clearbit, Zapier
  • SQL Server, dbt, Fivetran, Azure

Interesting projects you will participate in:

  • Analyzing our customers’ journey focused on our ideal customers’ characteristics and attributes to help marketers improve their targeting and messaging.

Is this you?

  • You have 3+ years of experience in analytics-focused roles; ideally with practical experience as a Marketing Data Analyst (or similar).
  • You have experience working with large data sets and data warehousing, and proficiency in SQL.
  • You have experience in web-tracking using JavaScript with the combination of Google Tag Manager
  • You can balance a fast-paced working environment with the need for precision and apply a high degree of pragmatism to solve data challenges and get fast results if needed.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across internal stakeholders. You are able to provide insight to the team based on the data in “plain language”.
