Located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, VU Amsterdam is consistently ranked as one of the top 150 universities in the world. With roughly 26,000 students and over 4,000 employees, the university owns and manages hundreds of websites that drive new student registrations, enable existing graduate and pre-graduate students, promote critical research, and serve individual teams throughout the university. These websites were built on a variety of content management systems that imposed limitations on operational efficiency, content quality, and compliance with online standards. The university utilized a page-centric content management system across its primary websites.
