About the role

Kontent.ai is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. In this role, you’ll help connect with potential clients who need content management solutions to streamline workflows, support localization, and ensure consistency across multiple channels and websites.

In this role, you’ll focus on both inbound inquiries and outbound prospecting to generate new opportunities, targeting companies that rely on content as a core part of their business.

You’ll work closely with our senior sales teams to uncover potential leads and build relationships with prospects across a variety of industries. This role is a great opportunity to learn and grow within the SaaS space, mastering the fundamentals of sales while contributing to our go-to-market strategy.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of experience in sales or marketing, or are eager to learn in a SaaS environment. If you’re passionate about tech and want to help shape the future of content management, this could be the perfect fit for you. This is a remote-first role.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be:

  • Market research: Stay curious about industry trends and understand the unique challenges of potential clients. Use this insight to tailor your outreach and build meaningful connections.
  • Prospecting and outreach: Reach out to prospects with thoughtful messaging and genuine conversations. Focus on building trust and showcasing how Kontent.ai can solve their content challenges.
  • Lead qualification: Qualify inbound leads by listening carefully to their needs and evaluating if our solution is the right fit. Prioritize based on potential impact and readiness to engage.
  • CRM management: Keep our CRM (Salesforce) updated with every interaction. Stay organized and ensure smooth communication between teams to move prospects forward.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing to share insights and refine strategies. Be a team player who actively contributes to collective goals.
  • Follow-up and nurturing: Stay engaged with prospects through thoughtful follow-ups. Build relationships over time and ensure they feel supported throughout their journey.
  • Attending in-person events: Attend key events to create personal connections, learn from industry leaders, and represent Kontent.ai in real-world settings.
  • Continuous learning: Embrace a growth mindset by learning from your experiences, seeking feedback, and improving your skills through ongoing training and development.
