Kontent.ai’s Code of Business Ethics reflects our commitment to integrity, inclusivity, and accountability. It serves as a guiding framework for employees, partners, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to engage in responsible, lawful, and ethical behavior across all interactions.

What is our Code of Business Ethics

Our Code of Business Ethics (“Code”) is what we believe, how we work, and how we lead. It builds on our Core Values and our Code of Conduct by providing greater detail about expected behaviors, and it supports a culture of integrity, compliance, and accountability across all who represent or engage with our organization (“We”, and “We, employees of Kontent.ai” when only the employees are intended).

Code of Conduct & Social Responsibility  

At Kontent.ai, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment for everyone. Our goal is to build a workplace culture grounded in integrity, mutual respect, and social responsibility.

We hold ourselves and our partners to high standards of professional conduct. Unprofessional, unethical, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Our Code reflects these principles and is designed to guide daily interactions, decision-making, and collaboration across our global community. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the Code is binding for:

  • All employees of Kontent.ai, regardless of job title, level, or seniority;
  • All business partners who work with or represent Kontent.ai in any capacity;
  • All contractors, vendors, and suppliers engaged by Kontent.ai.

By adhering to this Code, we aim to create not only a better workplace—but a more responsible and accountable business that positively contributes to society.

1. Compliance with laws and regulations 

We are obliged to strictly comply with all laws and regulations related to our activities, whether local, national, or regional. This includes—but is not limited to—regulations related to labor, anti-corruption, data protection, health and safety, and environmental standards.

2. Transparency

We conduct all activities in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, maintaining transparency and integrity to prevent fraud, corruption, and misconduct. We categorically oppose deception, conflicts of interest, and misrepresentation in any form.

We are required to:

  • Reject any attempts at interference, coercion, undue influence, or requests—whether direct or indirect—that could compromise their impartiality or objectivity in business decisions relating to customers, clients, or partners.
  • Understand and uphold the principle that offering, giving, soliciting, or accepting bribes or any other improper advantage—whether for personal gain or on behalf of someone else—is strictly prohibited. This includes both monetary and non-monetary benefits.
  • Recognize that engaging in bribery or facilitation payments is not only illegal and subject to criminal penalties, but also seriously harms the reputation and integrity of our company, which maintains a zero-tolerance stance on such practices.

3. Respect for others 

Any form of discrimination and harassment is not tolerated by Kontent.ai. We are obliged to respect all people regardless of gender, age, health status, sexual orientation, ethnicity, national origin, religious and political beliefs.  

We, employees of Kontent.ai, are obliged to:

  • Be respectful and empathetic, especially when it comes to differing viewpoints and experiences.
  • Use courteous and considerate language. Any violent language, sexualized language, or imagery is not tolerated.
  • Never make unwelcome sexual advances or give unwanted sexual attention. 
  • Approach work relationships with a default of trust, acceptance, and positivity. 
  • Accept constructive criticism and direct feedback, as well as offering it in that spirit.

4. Responsibility

We must be familiar with our duties and responsibilities, thereby minimizing the scope for confusion, conflicts, and professional misconduct. 

5. Morale and reputation 

We, the Employees of Kontent.ai, are obliged to:  

  • Act honestly and build a good reputation of the company. 
  • Not to abuse our employment status in dealings with other personnel. 
  • Avoid such actions and conduct that could reduce confidence in the eyes of the public. 

6. Honesty and impeccability 

We are obliged to: 

  • Reject any corrupt practices to gain an advantage over the competition. 
  • Always provide the necessary information to public authorities, other suppliers, or partners and customers. 
  • Not mislead, not present partial information. 
  • Base commercial decisions and actions solely on the best interests of the company, not be motivated by personal considerations or relationships. 
  • Consciously not use proprietary information, processes, materials or techniques developed by other companies that were not released for public use. 
  • Provide competent, independent, and impartial service. 
  • Inform the customer about everything that could affect judgment and the objectivity of services. 
  • Not provide services, advice, or cooperation leading to the violation or evasion of tax or other customer responsibilities arising from applicable laws. 

7. Information security 

We are obliged to comply with laws relating to the confidentiality and use of personal data.

We, Employees of Kontent.ai, are obliged to follow the company’s Security Policies, comply with the internal policies of the company relating to the confidentiality and use of personal data and protect all information concerning customers and business partners, obtained in the work. 

8. Environment

We are committed to environmental responsibility. Specifically, we undertake to:

  • Minimize our environmental footprint by actively seeking ways to reduce emissions, energy consumption, and the use of non-renewable resources in all aspects of our operations.
  • Comply fully with all applicable environmental protection laws and regulations and integrate best practices into our day-to-day business activities.
  • Properly sort and manage all types of waste generated during our operations and take all reasonable and effective measures to prevent pollution, protect natural ecosystems, and support the preservation of biodiversity.

Our goal is not only to meet legal requirements, but to continuously improve our environmental performance and contribute to a more sustainable future.

We, the Employees of Kontent.ai, are obliged to follow the company’s Green Agenda and always carry out all company activities in such a way that the impact on the environment is as environmentally friendly as possible.

9. Performance of obligations 

We are obliged to consistently meet all commitments and obligations.  

10. Expertise and professionalism 

We, the employees of Kontent.ai, shall comply with the standards of professional conduct, participate in company sponsored training and strive for professional education.   

11. Behaviors and values  

We, the employees of Kontent.ai, are obliged to behave in accordance with the company’s values and to behave openly and friendly, with respect for others and to promote teamwork. 

Every employee has the opportunity to express their thoughts, ideas, and opinions on everyday events in the company. An open exchange of ideas between employees in the workplace is encouraged within the company.

 12. Reporting

You have the right to report any suspected or actual misconduct, unethical behavior, or violations of this Code through the company’s designated whistleblowing channel outlined in the Whistleblower Policy. If you are an external collaborator, you can submit your concerns via compliance@kontent.ai. Reports may be submitted confidentially and without fear of retaliation. The company is committed to protecting whistleblowers and ensuring that all reports are taken seriously and investigated appropriately.
