Switching between data processing services

If the customer residing in the European Union is interested in switching between data processing services, we provide the customer with online information for self-service data back-up (Options to Manage Backups) as well as assistance in accordance with the concluded agreement on provision of services. Automatic data export is possible using the Kontent.ai Data Ops tool available here

We provide exportable data during the switching process in the data structures and data formats available here: Structure of the Backup Data

If a fixed-term contract is terminated early due to a switching process, we may require the customer to pay a contractual penalty for early termination as agreed in the agreement, in particular repayment of any discount the customer received from the regular service price and payment of the remaining subscription fees until the end of the current twelve month billing period. In the case of a multi-year agreement, the customer may be required to pay at least six times the subscription fee if the originally agreed subscription period is shortened by more than six months, or at least twelve times the subscription fee if it is shortened by more than twelve months.

Our ICT infrastructure used for data processing within our services for EU-based customers is subject to the jurisdiction of the EU member state where the ICT infrastructure is located, mainly the Czech Republic.
