Kramp and Kentico Cloud: Ready for the Future
Sometimes it is necessary to get rid of an old solution you have been using for years and start building a new one from scratch—because doing things as they were always done is just waste of time and resources. Kramp Groep is Europe's largest technical wholesaler for the agricultural industry, garden and parks sector, and earth movement. It conducts its business under the company names Kramp and Grene. Thanks to its extensive range, high stock position, fast deliveries, and perfect e-business solution, Kramp is a reliable and indispensable partner for its customers. Kramp was established in 1951, and has its head office in Varsseveld (The Netherlands) and is active in virtually all European countries.
In 2017, Kramp figured out their current content management system for their webshop, an innovative catalog for their customers, is simply too painful to keep updated. When searching for a new solution, their requirements were pretty simple:
- a solution operable in multiple countries
- multiple language support with content fall-backs
- a flexible platform for multiple merchants—webshops with similar content
- support for delivering content to various devices
Watch the video from Kentico Roadshow where Iris Eijzenbach, Kramp's Content Marketer, explains how Kentico Cloud helped them meet these requirements, and how the smart content model structure makes Kramp ready for an omnichannel future.
