Audience segment.

An audience segment represents a group of people who share a common set of attributes. Audience segment details are not useful for creating content items, because they lack many rich details about customers that authors need to understand. However, audience segments can be useful for delivering appropriate content items, customizing and personalizing specific information, and recommending relevant content, based on the behavioral characteristics of a segment of users (for example, existing customers, referrals from a given source, etc.).
