Content element

A content element is a distinct part or section associated with a content type. A content element is sometimes referred to as a content attribute (an aspect of a topic addressed by the content type). The element will have a label describing its purpose, and may include guidelines or rules indicating what content is permitted or expected. When a content element is used in more than one content type, it acts as a component that can support different situations.
