This year, we welcomed our customers, partners, and guests at BAFTA Piccadilly, right in the heart of London’s West End. The mission for the day was clear: offer our attendees a full range of high-energy sessions by industry professionals and the chance to mingle and network over tasty drinks and dinner.
How did it go? We talked about the situation on the ever-changing headless CMS market, explored how organizations can unlock business benefits with content operations, learned how to create content that performs, and heard lessons learned from our customer success story.
Before we dive in to take a look at some of the insightful talks by our expert speakers, check out this candid shot of our CEO Bart Omlo preparing for the conference in style with Kontent.ai-colored sneakers!
Cost-focused transformation, #1 transformation in 2023
The conference started off with a keynote by Kontent.ai’s CEO, Bart Omlo, discussing the top trends in digital transformation in 2023. Citing Elevatiq, Bart mentioned the number one trend would be the change of perspective from growth-focused transformation to cost-savings—the cost-focused transformation. What are the other major trends for the upcoming year? Stay tuned for the recording of this session to find out.
Clear benefits of headless: scalability and time to market
We’re thrilled to have had our Premium Partners and Gold Sponsors ACTUM Digital and delaware as speakers at the event. Luc Brouwers, Sales & Business Development, and Yannick De Pelsmaeker, Senior Consultant at delaware, discussed the Wolf Oil project and building scalable multi-site commerce solutions with flexible headless architecture.
Vaclav Novak, the Headless Practice Lead & Pre-sales Engineer, and Martin Dolezal, the Sales Director at ACTUM Digital, talked about the value of headless and the power of the right technologies to reduce its end-to-end implementation time by 50%.
Successful content is not just about the words
In her presentation on Top tips to create content that performs, Erika Varangouli, the Head of International Brand at Semrush, explained what successful content means and shared actionable tips on how to achieve it to rank high on the search engine results page.
She also explored how to tailor content to adapt it to the alarmingly short human attention span (8.25 seconds in 2015) and the demanding needs of today’s online visitors. Did you know that people only read about 20% of the words on a page? That’s a tough crowd, but thanks to Erika’s inspiring talk, businesses now know how to beat the odds.
