Enhance the way you work with your images. With AI accelerators, you can classify your images to improve their findability and generate localized image descriptions for better SEO.
Search images by content
Let’s say you need to find a relevant image to complement your new article. You can let the AI scan the images in your asset library and classify them based on what’s in them. Here’s how the classification works:
The AI scans your asset library to classify existing images. New images are classified right after you upload them.
The classification adds an extra layer of image metadata. It doesn’t affect how you organize your assets with collections or taxonomies.
Only the images that meet the requirements are classified.
If you search for images using multiple keywords, you’ll get images labeled with at least one of the specified keywords.
In Content & assets, go to Assets.
Type a keyword into the search bar. For example, type “rocket” to see all the images containing a rocket in your asset library.
Generate localized image descriptions
Save time by generating asset descriptions in the languages used in your project. In Kontent.ai, asset descriptions define the alt text for your assets. The alt text is useful for people who can’t see the images for technical or accessibility reasons. Including alt text with your images also helps with SEO.You can generate image descriptions only for images that meet the requirements. To generate a description for your image:
The AI generates the description in the default language. If the default language isn't recognized by the AI, it generates the asset description in English. To translate the description from the default language to other languages, click for other asset descriptions.
Considerations
For an image to be recognized and classified by the AI, it must meet these requirements:
The image format must be JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP, ICO, TIFF, or MPO.
The image resolution must be between 50 × 50 px and 16,000 × 16,000 px.
