With AI image recognition in Kontent.ai, finding the right image in your asset library is quick and hassle-free. Just type a keyword like “airplane” into the search and instantly get all the relevant pictures.
Search images by content
Let’s say you need an image with an airplane to complement your new article. Unless your content team takes great care to categorize all images in the asset library, it’s likely to be very tedious to find the right image. Especially if you have a lot of assets. That’s when AI image recognition comes to the rescue – AI can scan all images in your asset library and classify them by what it finds in the images. With that, you just type airplane in the search and get all the images with airplanes your asset library has to offer. To search images by their content:
In Content & assets, go to Assets.
Type a keyword into the search bar.
For example, airplane, cloud, laptop, car.
The search uses logical OR: if you type multiple keywords, you’ll get all images classified with at least one of the keywords you searched for.
Considerations
The initial asset library scan can take some time, even hours, depending on your library size. These are the requirements for image files to be recognized by AI:
Format must be JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP, ICO, TIFF, or MPO.
Resolution must be between 50 × 50 px and 16,000 × 16,000 px.
